Key Features
- Synchronous Rectification: Uses a specialized control chip and an integrally molded power inductor to achieve up to 96% efficiency, significantly outperforming standard linear regulators.
- Ultra-Compact Design: Its “mini” form factor makes it ideal for flight controllers, portable electronics, and DIY robotics where every millimeter counts.
- High Switching Frequency: Operates at 340KHz, which allows for a stable output with very low ripple (30mV), ensuring clean power for sensitive components.
- Wide Voltage Range: Converts any input between 4.75V and 23V down to a user-adjustable output of 1.0V to 17V.
- Thermal Durability: Engineered to function in harsh environments, with an operational temperature range from -40°C to +85°C.

Usage Notes
-
Voltage Adjustment: The output is adjusted via the tiny onboard potentiometer. Since this is a buck converter, the input voltage must always be at least 1.5V higher than the desired output voltage.
-
Current Handling: For continuous operation at the 3A peak, additional cooling or heat sinking is recommended; otherwise, stick to the 1.8A continuous rating to prevent overheating.
