Descriptions:
5 Array Tracking Sensor Based on the TRCT5000 infrared reflection sensor, it is often used to track smart cars. The TRCT5000 sensor infrared LED continuously emits infrared rays. When emitted infrared rays are reflected by the object, they are received by the infrared receiver and emit analog values. The analog output value is related to object distance and object color. The position of the tracking line is evaluate by calculating the analog value of the five outputs.

The stronger the infrared (white) reflection, the higher the output, the weaker the infrared (black) radiation and the lower the output.
The closer the detector is to the black line, the smaller the output, so that the black line distance can be judge by the output analog. The lower the value, the closer the sensor gets to the black line.
Compared to other track sensors that can only emit high and low levels, this product’s 5-channel analog output can provide feedback on black line distance, and feedback is more accurate.
Connection:
VCC: VCC is the positive input port of the power supply, which can access the 3.3V~5V voltage.
GND: GND is a power negative input port
OUT1~5: OUT is a signal output port, connecting the MCU I / O port
